About Maddie

One thing you should know about me is I am currently in nursing school! I have my BLS certification, and do not smoke or drink. I graduate in December of this year, and have experience caring for patients as young as a few weeks old. I have babysat for family friends throughout high school, alongside aiding in the care for my brother who has autism. In my spare time, I like to hike, be outside, bake sweets, read, play pickleball, and cross-stitch! I am also currently training to participate this September! My skills include creating a fun yet safe environment, engaging with the child's interests, and effectively handling heightened emotions. I also have extensive lifetime experience with children who have mental disabilities or challenges.
