About Madalyn

Hello! I am offering tutoring services for students 6-12 (Elementary aged). I am able to support students that are meeting or falling below grade level in Mathematics, Reading, or Writing. I worked as a paraprofessional where I instructed lessons 1-1/small group to better support diverse learning needs. I then graduated with my Elementary Education teaching degree, where I completed a student teaching residency in 2nd grade. I am well informed of the curriculum K-5 and can support students in various ways. As someone who once struggled to learn, I found many methods to support myself, and others as well. Every learner is different and needs various supports, it just takes some trying to find the right fit! I absolutely love teaching and connecting with children. Our minds are both so creative and energetic. As I mentioned how I struggled in school, I always made it my mission to become the teacher I never had, but always needed.
