About Madalynn

Hello everyone! My name is Madalynn and I am 27 years old. I have 5 plus years of experience working with kids. I have an associates in Behavioral science from Murray state and a BA in psychology from OSU. My first experience working with children was an inpatient facility for youth ages 7-17. I learned about de-escalation, prevention, safety, and creating safe space for youth to express their emotions. Post graduation I worked for a mental health crisis line as a care coordinator. I learned how to work and become comfortable navigating crisis situations. Leaving the crisis line I pursued teaching. This experience allowed me to nurture the passion I have in making a difference. Overall, I am a well rounded individual when it comes to childcare, multi tasking, and fast paced workloads. I have 2 nieces 2 and 7, that I take in from time to time. I am a mom of a loving 4-year-old boy! I'm looking to get into this work so I can go back to school and further my education!
