About Madalyn

Hi! I'm Maddy and I have been taking care of people for most of my life. I'm the oldest of 4 and have a huge extended family (4 new babies just this year!) and I truly just love caring for people! I graduated from UMKC's School of Nursing where I focused on maternal and child health, infant nutrition, and postpartum care. I have nannied for 2 families with newborns starting at 4 weeks old, one of which was an only child and the other the youngest of 4 so I have lots of experience with newborn care and time management! I'm also CPR and first aid certified, have years of college level coursework in child development and psychology, and I'm passionate about providing the best possible research-based care. I've worked as a tutor and created lesson plans before so I'm very comfortable with homework or helping younger children prepare for school. I love animals (especially dogs!), crafts, gardening, and learning new things. I can't wait to chat with you and find out more about your family!
