About Macy

I'm caring, friendly and always willing to help. I believe in tailoring what I offer to the specific needs of the person I'm focused on helping. I'm flexible and can get tasks done easily. At the core, I'm a storyteller, researcher, conversationalist, organizer, caretaker and a lifelong learner. I've spent the last 14 years working as a professional broadcast TV news reporter in Washington D. C., Sacramento, Dallas and Los Angeles, earning an Emmy Nomination in 2017. Off screen, I spent 3 of those years working as a private tutor for children aged 5 to 16 in math, English, Spanish, science, history, reading and writing composition. I graduated from The George Washington University in Washington D. C. with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, journalism and Spanish; and earned my Master of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications.
