About Macy

Teaching is truly my passion. I'm a certified high school teacher who currently teaches biology and forensics, and I've previously taught chemistry and physics as well. I also have a middle school teaching background, where I taught science and writing, which helped me learn how to break down complex ideas in a way that actually makes sense for students. As a tutor, I focus on meeting students where they are and building their confidence alongside their understanding. I believe learning should feel supportive, encouraging, and even enjoyable - not overwhelming. I'm patient, organized, and always happy to explain things in multiple ways until they click. Whether a student needs help keeping up with coursework, preparing for exams, or strengthening study skills, I aim to create a comfortable environment where questions are always welcome. I genuinely enjoy helping students grow academically and feel more confident in their abilities.
