About Mackenzie

Hi there! I'm Mackenzie, a 24-year-old member of the BIPOC community looking for full-time work as a nanny. Caregiving has always been a calling for me - I've cared for others in one way or another since I was young, and I truly love it. I've worked as a caregiver for the elderly (in-home, assisted living, and memory care settings) since I was 18, and I'm currently completing a mentorship through YCVD to become a THW (Traditional Health Worker) birth doula. I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I always follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and discipline. I enjoy outdoor play, board games, puzzles, and educational activities that support learning and creativity. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, from newborns to age 11, and I prioritize clear communication using each family's preferred method. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid, and look forward to creating a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment for your little ones.
