About Mackenzie

Hi! I'm Makki, and I have been working with children for over 17 years. I started my journey in childcare at 14 and have since gained experience teaching in private Pre-K settings for nearly a decade, working as a district substitute for two years, and currently serving as a CTE Ed Tech, supporting students in career and technical education. I have experience with children from infants to teenagers, and I truly love what I do! I enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences for kids, especially in the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking, biking, swimming, gardening, or kayaking, I love incorporating nature and movement into the day. I am a lifelong animal lover, with two pets. I believe in a balance of following a routine, while allowing time for free play to help children grow and thrive.
