About Mackenzie

Hi! My name is Mackenzie but you and your child can call me Mac or Kenzie. I am currently a secondary education and mathematics major at the University of Nevada Reno with the goal of becoming a middle school math teacher. I specialize in providing math help, specifically grades 3 - 12, up to Calculus 1. My knowledge extends to the mathier portions of chemistry and biology as well. I can also help with English by proofreading essays, helping students structure and plan paragraphs, and helping them effectively and accurately use grammar, literary devices, and other writing conventions. I successfully tutored peers in Spanish and Math during high school and provided one-on-one tutoring for an elementary schooler from grades 3-6 in math, particularly focusing on operations with fractions and decimals.
