About Mackenzie

Hi! I'm Mackenzie, and I'm a 19-year-old college student. I'm the eldest of 3 and have spent most of my life caring for younger siblings, cousins, or neighbors so it feels very natural! I also spent 2 months interning with an elementary school teacher in my hometown. I'm responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy creating a safe environment for children. Over the past few years I have had many paid babysitting jobs, but I have been watching after family members kids as long as I can remember. When I'm not babysitting, I am working hard for my degree, playing guitar, watching movies with friends, and caring for my puppy at home. When babysitting, I try to keep the kids as active as possible and minimize screen use, usually ensuring easier bedtimes. I have a license and car, and if needed can provide transportation, cooking, and tutoring.
