About Mackenzie

I'd describe my personality as patient, friendly, and active. I've been working with kids in different capacities for years! I worked as a home health aide for special needs kids in high school and college, and as a live in au pair for kids ranging from ages 9 months to 16 years old in Italy and Australia. I also worked in child protection for almost 5 years and have experience working and interacting with all kinds of families and kids of all ages. In my spare time, I like to go jogging at the park, spend time with friends and family, play with my niece and nephew, and spend a little time cozy on the couch with my fiancée and cats. I'm also interested in trying to get into tennis lately, and I love reading and listening to audiobooks. My skills include adjusting to the needs of individual children or specific scenarios, encouraging imagination and mental skill building, and balancing that with physical activity and development!
