About Mackenzie

I discovered my love for child care when I was a lifeguard for two summers in a row and I had the opportunity to take on one-on-one swim lessons. I never had the opportunity to take care of kids growing up like my friends so once I was a lifeguard I became close with the kids and their parents and I always was so excited to see them swimming at the pool on and off duty. I think my favorite part of taking care of children is their love of life, as someone who works with adults for the majority of my career life I find it so refreshing to spend time with kids because they remind of how fun life can be with the simplest of things and I always end up so happy after a day/night spent taking care of children.
