About Mackenzie

Hi, I'm Kenzie! I earned my CNA license right out of high school and went straight into geriatric and memory care, drawn early on to the kind of work that asks for real patience and consistency. I spent my first couple of years at Life Care Center of Jacksonville before moving to Moosehaven, where I also earned my medication technician license -- a step that let me take on more responsibility and only deepened my passion for the work. Over five years in the field, I learned how to read what someone needed before they could always tell me themselves, whether that meant catching a subtle shift in mood, gently working through confusion, or just sitting with someone so they didn't feel alone. Senior care was never only about meeting physical needs for me -- it was about protecting someone's dignity even as so much else was changing for them.
