Hi! My name is MacKenzie, and I'm very interested in a nanny position. I'm currently a Nutrition Science major working toward my master's degree, and I absolutely adore working with kids. I previously nannied for a couple years with two wonderful boys who I cared for deeply, but unfortunately had to step away due to past school schedule changes. I'm available from mid-May through mid-July, will be away for a summer commitment of an internship from mid-July to mid-August, and then available again after that wraps up. We had an interview with Mackenzie and had her start about a week later. On her first day she texted me 2 hours into watching our children and said she thinks she has the stomach flu and has to go home. She texted me the next day saying she doesn't think it's a good fit and can no longer nanny for us. She showed up on time for her shift and seemed like a nice girl but now we are put in a difficult position that could have been resolved with transparency from the beginning.
