About Mackenzie

Hi there! I'm Mackenzie - a teacher and experienced caregiver looking for part-time, summer, or occasional nanny or babysitting opportunities! A bit about me: I'm originally from Maryland and graduated from The George Washington University in 2015, where I also played a collegiate sport (Raise High!). After college, I moved to Louisiana, where I taught in the classroom until 2019 and earned my Master's degree from LSU (Geaux Tigers!). I moved back to DC in 2019 and currently teach for DCPS. I have experience working with children of all ages - from newborns to teens - and in professional settings, I've taught and mentored kids ages 5-16. I bring energy, creativity, and a love of learning to everything I do. I'm also happy to help with light housework, meals, and pet care as needed.
