About Mackenzie

I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic student at the University of Maryland and a consistent Straight A student who truly values learning. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and Tau Sigma Honor Society, and I've received the President's Education Award for Academic Excellence every semester since December 2023. I have also been recognized on the President's Honor Roll for my academic performance. Beyond academics, I am responsible, dependable, and highly organized. I work especially well with children and younger students, creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to meet individual needs. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence, strengthen their study skills, and foster a genuine understanding of the material.
