About Mackenzie

Hi, my name is Mackenzie! I'm a nursing student aspiring to work in Pediatrics! I began working in summer camps 5 years ago at a forest school before I transitioned to working for the YMCA summer camps 2 years ago as a lead counselor. I adore working with children, watching them grow and become confident little people. I have the most experience with ages 5-11. I'm a firm believer in children using their imaginations and safely testing their limits to grow their confidence in themselves. I hold an American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification and HSI First Aid certification. I am happy to assist with carpooling, meal preparation and lighthouse work to support your family's routine. Im familiar with gentle parenting and Montessori styles of parenting but will always support and follow your family's values. I'm comfortable with pets and don't mind taking care of them. I am honored to be apart of your child's development and I look forward to supporting your family's routine!
