About Mackenzie

I'd describe myself as kind, attentive, responsible, and very patient with animals. I've always grown up around both dogs and cats, and caring for pets has naturally been a big part of my life. Back home in California, I was often the person friends, neighbors, and family trusted to pet sit and check in on their animals while they were away. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone caring, communicative, and trustworthy looking after your pets. I work remotely from my laptop, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with animals throughout the day. I'm very detail oriented and like to ask thorough questions about routines, feeding schedules, medications, behavior, and anything else that helps pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, anxious, playful, or older and needs extra patience, I always try to make them feel calm, cared for, and loved while you're away.
