About Mackenzie

Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I'm a mom to a4-year-old little girl. I'm also a Drill Sergeant in the Army Reserves, and completing my undergraduate degree at The Citadel as a Veteran Day Student. As a mom, student, and Drill Sergeant, I understand the importance of structure, responsibility, and safety-but I also know how to bring warmth, fun, and creativity into a child's life. I find it rewarding to support families by providing reliable childcare. I have experience caring for children of all ages. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. Whether it's helping with homework, organizing activities, or simply being a reliable and caring presence, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility to every family I work with. I speak both English and Spanish. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents using their preferred method. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
