About Mackena

My name is Mackena, I'm currently attending UC Davis but I'm looking to care for children or pets over the summer! I've always been around kids growing up and gravitate towards looking after them. In the past I've volunteered for summer schools and held responsibility for 8-10 kids at a time, making sure their on task, upholding good behavior, and making sure they had fun! I enjoy collaboration, creativity, working towards a task, and being excited to achieve my goals. I think working with kids is fun because of their growing personalities and uniqueness to each one of them. I enjoy creativeness in play and want to be their role model, so it holds me accountable for being the best version of myself! In my free time I enjoy baking, running errands, being with family and friends, and working out!
