About Macie

Hello! My name is Macie, and I'm a 25-year-old college graduate with degrees in Psychology and Child, Youth, & Family Studies. I have several years of experience working with children in many settings, including babysitting, daycare, camp counseling, after-school programs, swim instruction, and the Child Development Lab at the University of Nebraska. I've worked with children ranging from 6 weeks old through middle school and have a strong understanding of child development. I love keeping kids engaged through outdoor activities, games, and arts and crafts while creating a safe, positive environment. I'm dependable, patient, organized, a non-smoker, and have reliable transportation with a clean driving record. I'm available mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I'm happy to travel throughout the San Diego area. With summer approaching, I'm excited to help families with childcare support!
