About Macie

Hi, I'm Macie! I'm 22 years old and recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Psychology. I've spent the past 5+ years caring for children from newborns to teens, including those with different developmental needs. I worked for 3 years as a Teaching Assistant at the university's childcare center, then as a Special Education Assistant supporting kids' academic and social growth. Two years ago, I was a Preschool Teacher at Peake Academy in Lake Oswego, where I created engaging activities and a welcoming classroom. Alongside my school-based roles, I've been a trusted in-home nanny for several families, comfortable caring for multiple children at once. I value building strong connections with the kids I care for, making each day safe, fun, and full of learning opportunities. I'm excited to bring my experience, energy, and love for children to a wonderful family in the Lake Oswego area.
