About Macie

Hi! I'm Macie, and I love working with kids! I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood and experience working with children ages 3-18 through summer camps, swim lessons, substitute teaching, and student teaching. I'm patient, dependable, and enjoy getting to know each child and their personality. I love keeping kids engaged with crafts, games, reading, outdoor activities, and other age-appropriate activities. I'm also happy to help with homework, meals, routines, and bedtime. During my student teaching, I worked with a kindergarten class and took full responsibility for the classroom for four weeks. My experience with children of different ages has taught me to be flexible and adapt to each child's needs. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and trust the person caring for their children. My goal is for every child to feel safe, supported, and excited to spend time together!
