About Macie

I've been working with kids for about three years, and it's something I genuinely love. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I have experience caring for children from infants to pre-teens. I studied Elementary Education at IU Columbus for three years and gained hands-on experience working in a preschool, assisting in a special education classroom, and substitute teaching students across different grade levels. These experiences have made me comfortable working with different ages, personalities, learning styles, and needs. I've completed Early Child Development coursework and am CPR and First Aid certified. I love keeping kids engaged through crafts, outdoor play, puzzles, games, and learning activities. I'm also happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, and carpooling when needed. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to be themselves!
