For most of my life, I've had an animal companion by my side-whether a dog, cat, fish, or even reptiles. Since moving to Fairfax, I've really felt the absence of that daily connection, which inspired me to return to caring for animals & helping other pet owners. I have over 7 years of hands-on experience with shelters and kennels. During that time, I've cared for cats and dogs of all temperaments & needs-from healthy pets to those needing extra attention, medication, & specialized care. My experience includes walking, pet sitting, basic training, & making sure each animal feels safe, loved, & comfortable. I understand how important communication is, so I keep owners updated with messages & photos to give you peace of mind while you're away. I'm also comfortable and experienced with caring for a variety of animals beyond cats & dogs. Machaila was an amazing and attentive babysitter for my bird children (two green cheek conures)! It’s rare to meet other people with pet birds and also conures, and so Machaila was an expert in handling my babies and even taught me some training tips for my birds. My birds enjoyed hanging out with her in her home and they enjoyed connecting with her bird too! Even after the care, Machaila was open to answering my texts about bird care and she even drove to DC to pick them over for overnight boarding. Such great customer service and kindness. Please pick her as your pet sitter! Quality care! :)
