Macey seemed great. We had a phone interview where we discussed more about the position. She came over for a meet and greet and things went great. I hired her to work around 20 hours a week to watch my child while went to work my new job. When I tried to connect with her the following week about her starting schedule she completely ghosted me and left me in a lurch—scrambling for a new career giver. I would have had no issue if she decided it wasn’t the right fit but she didn’t have the decency to even communicate.
