About Macdara

My name is Dara and I am an empty-nester and also a mother of four children, who are 21-27 years old, (we are all college graduates). Aside from raising my own children and being the primary care-giver for my mother who had Alzheimer's, I have nannied for newborns, toddlers and children of all ages. I absolutely LOVE children and I am very responsible, patient, active and trustworthy! I also have a heart for special needs children and the elderly. Now that my children are grown, I have enjoyed nannying and caregiving. Having worked in the corporate world (as an Adverting Account Manager) and having been a stay-at-home mother as well, I understand the balancing act that raising children entails. I am wonderful at multi-tasking, love playing and engaging with children, and my families lovingly refer to me as their own "Mary Poppins". Personally, I am very active, healthy, athletic and I love sports including swimming, golfing and biking! I look forward to hearing from you! ~ Dara
