About Mabinty

My sister and I had the pleasure of employing Mabinty S for 5 years to provide care for our mother, who just recently passed away at the age of 84. By the fall of 2020, our mother’s Parkinson’s Disease had progressed to the point where she required physical and mental assistance with her daily living activities. She was still ambulatory and was a significant safety risk to herself. She required constant supervision, as she was still struggling with losing her physical independence. After having used several different aides, Mabinty came to us showing a clear improvement in managing our mother’s emotional, physical and mobility needs. Mom had a large frame and Mabinty was very adept at moving with her to keep her upright and safe, despite mom’s sometimes uncooperative and challenging behavior. Mabinty was able to provide quality and reassuring care for her over the entire spectrum of her needs, from eating/feeding, to toileting and bathing. She was always kind and caring to mom. I was home & in the background all the time and never overheard a cross word from Mabinty to mom. She always spoke to her in a very caring and sweet way, even during challenging situations. For the last two and a half years of Mom’s life until her recent death this March (2025) Mom was completely bedridden with advanced dementia. As the complexity of Mom’s care increased, Mabinty continued to give Mom truly brilliant care. She was able to keep up with the significant level of physical demands of the job, and was always responsible, persistent, patient, and hard-working. She also has worked well with my sister and I as an employee via the staffing agency, and has been flexible, adaptive and responsive with any requests we have made. Overall, Mabinty was a truly excellent employee and I am comfortable with providing my enthusiastic endorsement for her future employment opportunities.
