Unfortunately, 10-stars isn't an option–she is absolutely worth more than just 5. Not only has she provided stellar childcare, she has also helped me around the house without being asked! My son (4) and daughter (2) love Maasai so much because she is very interactive. I enjoyed my experience with Maasai because she wasn't passive nor was she aggressive when she had to correct the children. She was patiently assertive–expressing her emotions while giving them a safe space to express theirs and explaining why certain behaviors were unacceptable. She exercises child-led learning to a certain extent (she'd never put them in harm's way). She was always very engaged and had high energy when teaching my kids new concepts. Maasai has great attendance, is extremely punctual, and very communicative when emergencies arise. It was great working with her for several years, and we'd love for her to move back!
