About Lyssa

Hello! My name is Lyssa! I am looking to help a family part-time currently. I have a 1-year-old that I will be bringing with me on my adventures. I have a lot of experience tutoring in academic studies. I also have a lot of experience taking care of children. Below is an overview of each service I am willing to provide. Can't wait to talk with you! Tutoring/Teaching I have worked in education ever since I left high school. I worked as a math tutor to 9 graders, taught as a health teacher, and substituted for classes. My last job was in a 4th-grade classroom as a behavioral support specialist. I followed a friend(s) throughout the day and helped them regulate their emotions. Babysitting/Nanning I grew up in a large family. This was such a blessing! I grew up learning how to take care of my nieces and nephews. They are my pride and joy! I have also spent professional time watching other kiddos around where I lived. My favorite age group to babysit is toddlers!
