About Lynsea

I'm a patient and creative tutor who loves helping students build confidence and enjoy learning. Growing up as the oldest of 10 children, my siblings and I would do math with my dad -- and we would sometimes cry because he was the one who really knew it. I tell my younger siblings now that doesn't have to be their reality, because I know math well and enjoy finding ways to make homework fun, whether through games, quizzes, or well-timed breaks. I believe that pushing a student until they break doesn't help them learn -- patience, encouragement, and creative strategies do. As a proud big sister, whether it's helping my brother study college-level math so he could get into Brown University or helping my6-year-old nephew build a planetarium, I'm very much in the homework world today. I bring over 10 years of hands-on experience supporting children of all ages, helping them reach their learning goals while building confidence and curiosity.
