About Lynn

I'm a former second grade teacher with a passion for helping children build confidence and enjoy learning. I was also the primary caregiver and learning support for my granddaughter throughout her kindergarten through second grade years. I especially enjoy helping young learners strengthen early literacy and foundational academic skills in a fun, and encouraging environment. I'd love the opportunity to work together and help your student succeed! I'd describe my personality as fun loving, forgiving, dedicated. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to focus one on one with individual learners. I'm looking for a job where the parent or caregiver is a partner. I started tutoring when I left my full time teaching job. In my spare time, I like to garden. I also enjoy reading and hiking.
