I am a semi-retired teacher's aide. I worked with children with special needs in private schools, in the federal Head Start program, and as a live-in house mother in a home for 3 kids with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities (ages 8-14). I now provide childcare and senior care services. I am a kind, patient person, dependable, and I communicate well with kids. I'm an active caregiver; I believe it's very important to participate in a child's activities. We take walks, go to the playground, sit on the floor playing with learning toys, play board games, and even shoot hoops. On a personal note, I have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren who I visit often. I'm a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and have my own transportation. We would hire Lynn again and highly recommend her to our family and friends. She cared for our 2 and 3 year old daughters, and we couldn’t be happier with her. Lynn is reliable, trustworthy, and very experienced with children. She was attentive, engaging at an age appropriate level, and anticipated both girls needs wonderfully.
