About Lynne

I am a 2015 graduate of UVa in Drama, and just completed my MA in Theatre History and Criticism. I am currently getting my Masters in Teaching at UVa. I have experience teaching drama (as well as using drama techniques in standard curriculum classroom instruction) at the post-secondary and secondary level. I am a professional Teaching Artist and direct/design for a non-profit theatre in Charlottesville. Prior to grad school, I worked for three years in public school system(s) as a classroom TA as well as founding drama classes and directing plays for students up through Grade 5. I also used drama-based techniques to enhance learning high-need students. My nannying experiences have often morphed into something more akin to those of a regular teacher (i. e. structuring curriculum on a day-to-day basis). I enjoy tutoring and leading children in engaging arts and crafts. I am fully-vaccinated, First Aid/CPR certified, and have a reliable car.
