I have cared for/reared three adult children and have assisted in caring for more than 30 nieces and nephews and more than 30 great nieces and great nephews. I am also a caregiver for my 91-year-old aunt and 83-year-old mother on a part-time basis. I am a Certified Medical Assistant and I am BLS certified for adults, children and infants. I am trained in blood borne pathogens also. I was recently cleared to work as a respite caregiver for a state agency in 2017. I was a nanny for three little girls ages r5, 4 and 5 months old. Previously, I worked as an assistant director of an in-home daycare center. From August 2013 until June of 2014, I was nanny to a dear 4-year-old little boy from Boiling Springs whom I still stay in touch with him and his family. I recently finished an assignment of caring for two little girls (that were ages 4 1/2 and 2 years old that lived in Greer until mid August 2015.. The youngest was a newborn when I began. She was three days shy of 2 months old.

Valerie is a phenomenal addition to our family and has gone above and beyond by giving her heart to the efforts of working with a special needs child who is absolutely crazy about her. Valerie stays compliant and works hard to think of ways to challenge our daughter Who happens to have down syndrome. Valerie has worked through the support waiver system so if anyone has questions who is also involved with that feel free to contact us. We would be losing a family member if she ever decided to not come anymore and my only wish is that I had a bigger budget and she was there every day. We have a big family and even though she pours into the ones with special needs every child I have is crazy about this lady. I can't say enough good things about this woman who is now such a dear friend.
