I'd describe my personality as patient, gentle & considerate while practicing & maintaining boundaries. Long ago a work parent commented they liked my style of being consistently firm and gentle. I like working with kids because I love seeing the world through their eyes & sharing the wonder of the natural world with them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be mostly with preschool aged children I started working with kids running an afterschool program at an independent school in 2003- when my own daughter started preschool. I remained there for 22 years. In my spare time, I like to be in the garden, walk & explore outside in nature, cook & eat yummy foods, get crafty with just about anything & knit. On the weekends I get to blow glass! One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and steady. My skills include careful observation skills to meet them where they are at and provide social emotional support & fostering skills to set them up for future success.

As a caregiver Lynn is the kind of person you know will truly see your child/children. She has an amazing ability to ground out all the big feelings that kids can have. I have never seen anyone who could get a ground of 3-4 year olds to lay still, listen to a story and fall asleep. All three of my children, from preschool to the end of grade school, have enjoyed spending time with Lynn. I always knew that my kids were not only safe, but also were going to be treated and enjoyed in their own unique best way. She is a true gift to children and I am lucky to have had her looking over my kids as long as I did.
