I am a retired insurance professional who left my career early due to health issues after having double bacterial pneumonia. They have since resolved so I found myself bored and needing to supplement my Social Security benefit. I have a passion for Seniors. Currently do Companion Care with an 84-year-old Senior with dementia who now has Pancreatic cancer. I find I love doing this as I had previously helped care for an aunt so I had experience. I cook his meals, order groceries, take care of his medications and often take him for his doctor visits. This position has evolved from just Companion Care into more due to his medical diagnosis. Lynette is great! Dependable and great with Kids (or Grand kids in my case) Takes the time to do things correctly (like I would, if I had the time). She does tasks independently, like cleaning the frig. or straightening up the linen closet. I really like someone who will show initiative. Of course there has to be time for those extra tasks. I had her come for the whole day and it was a real treat to come home on Thursdays and the house was spotless for the weekend! Honest and caring.
