Empowering students to reach their full potential is why I'm a teacher. I hold a masters degree in teaching and specialize in guiding students through Math, English, Science, and ELA. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every student possesses unique strengths. I assess individual learning styles by maintaining regular check-ins with parents to ensure they are update to date on their child's progress. To keep learners engaged, I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement. I believe clear communication with families is essential for reinforcing progress at home. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing a student's "aha!" moment or that light bulb when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am comfortable working with pets and look forward to helping your student thrive in the comfort of your home or at a learning center!
