About Lyndsay

I truly love working with children and enjoy watching them learn and grow. I have experience with children of all ages, though the majority has been with children ages 5 and under. I have plenty of experience with diapers, potty-training, basic meal prep, homework help, tidying up the house, and obviously keeping the children occupied! I like to read books with the kids, play games, go to the park, make art, swim, play outside, listen/dance to music, cook/bake, go to the zoo or museum, or anything else that is age-appropriate and will keep the kids happy and active. I have been told more times than I can count that I am incredibly patient. I love animals and do not have allergies, so pets aren't a worry. I am a non-smoker who is friendly, down to earth, and fun to be around! I do not have children of my own, so I am not biased in my ways of nurturing or discipline. I enjoy learning and implementing each family's parenting techniques, since consistency is so important in a child's life. I have learned so much working in this field, and it's exciting for me to see how very unique each child and family really are! As far as my personality is concerned, I'm very laid back and easy to get along with. I'm happy, open minded, and drama-free. I love to laugh and have a good time, but I do take my job seriously.
