About Lynda

For the past 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential and achieve their academic goals. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher with experience in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach by listening, observing, and encouraging open communication to discover what works best. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, and I prioritize building trust and keeping parents informed. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring students of all ages in Math, and can meet at various locations, including online. I would love to share my passion for education with you and help your student succeed!
