About Lyd

I'm a responsible, warm and patient sitter with a passion for education and creativity.. I currently work as a paraprofessional for Chicago Public Schools and work with two boys with autism in 6th grad. I'm pursuing school in the fall to get my Master's in Social Work an will have availability through the summer. I have my own vehicle and am happy to provide school or activity transport. I enjoy being outdoors whether it's kicking around a soccer ball after school or heading to a nearby park after school. I'm also happy doing crafts, reading, playing board games or whatever else you know will keep your child engaged! My background includes a wide range of experiences, from tutoring boys ages 8-13, providing after school pickup to a great 5th grader, and babysitting during summer breaks and date night evenings! I'm comfortable with kids ages 1-15 and can help prepare snacks and/or meals, do basic housework and cleaning, or walking any furry friends you have.
