About Lydie

I would describe myself as creative, patient, and nurturing. I genuinely enjoy working with children and love being part of their growth and learning journey. I began working with kids in middle school by babysitting for family and have since gained experience in daycare settings, before and after school programs, and as a paraprofessional. I'm seeking a role where I can use my background and skills to support children's development in meaningful ways. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and expressing my creativity through sewing, punch needling, furniture flipping, and designing graphic tees. I'm a proud mom of both a toddler and teenagers, and also a pet parent, so I'm very comfortable around children and animals. I'm actively involved in my church community and bring a calm, thoughtful approach to everything I do. My key strengths include behavior management, activity planning, and hands-on teaching.
