About Lydia

Hi! My name is Lydia, and I'm a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a double major in Communications and Fine Arts. I'm a strong communicator, patient, and highly organized, and I love helping younger students feel confident in their schoolwork. I'm comfortable tutoring elementary and early middle-school students (especially up to about 4th-5th grade) in subjects like reading, writing, spelling, basic math, homework help, and study skills. My approach is encouraging, supportive, and tailored to each child's pace and personality. I strive to make learning positive, clear, and engaging--so students not only understand the material but feel proud of themselves while doing it.
