About Lydia

Hi! My name is Lydia, and I’m a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a double major in Communications and Fine Arts. I’m a strong communicator, patient, and highly organized, and I love helping younger students feel confident in their schoolwork. I’m comfortable tutoring elementary and early middle-school students (especially up to about 4th–5th grade) in subjects like reading, writing, spelling, basic math, homework help, and study skills. My approach is encouraging, supportive, and tailored to each child’s pace and personality. I strive to make learning positive, clear, and engaging—so students not only understand the material but feel proud of themselves while doing it.
