About Lydia

5+ stars does not come close to rating Lydia high enough – she is exceptional in every way! Most notably and important, is her innate ability and desire to get to know, appreciate, communicate with and love the person she is taking care – and that person's family! She earned our dad’s trust organically and nurtured a genuine connection with him. She built a close bond that gave all of us strength and encouragement. She gave dad highly skilled nursing care that even visiting hospice nurses marveled at! Her experience and ability to apply and adapt her skills to the individual with unique challenges is remarkable. She gave Dad comfort, care, companionship and confidence that encouraged him to be the best he could be and to be happy – she gave him dignity. She added sunshine and laughter to his days and nights. She enabled him to fulfill his wish to stay comfortably and safely in his beloved home. She handled very difficult circumstances with grace, patience, compassion and respect. We are so grateful that she was and still is a part of our lives – and that she continues to follow her special calling and share her talents with those in need. She is smart and capable and strong - truly a rare professional that goes generously above and beyond. She is a gift -a great blessing. 5 stars? Not nearly enough!
