About Lydia

Hi! My name is Lydia. I have worked with children for 15+ years and hold a bachelor's degree in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. I am currently employed in the Sioux Falls School District where I work as a Special Education Support Professional. My past roles include babysitter, daycare provider, full-time nanny, and CNA. When working with children, I prioritize patience, empathy, and understanding. Every child develops at their own pace, and I see that these qualities are essential for supporting their growth and well-being. I am happy to work with children and families of all backgrounds. Because of my employment during the school year, I'm seeking families who are looking for an occasional caregiver (e. g., date night babysitter). I'd be delighted to meet your family!
