I have a particular passion for caring for disabilities. Growing up, my Pop-Pop was wheelchair bound, cognitively delayed, and paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident that happened before I was born. My mother is a former speech pathologist, and my foreign language in High School was ASL, so I know basic signs but would be willing (and would love to) learn more! Two summers ago, I was a full-time camp counselor in my hometown, Athens, GA, at a place called ESP! ESP is the only summer camp in the U. S. that accepts EVERY applicant, regardless of their diagnosis (even if they don't have one!) That summer, I worked with CP, Down Syndrome, reactive autism, wheelchairs, feeding tubes, and all undiagnosed friends in between! Last summer, I was a full-time caregiver for a family and loved it so much, but unfortunately fell ill and was let go. This Summer, I am back and feeling much better, and am ready to find a family that fits me! Please reach out if you have any questions!
