New to care. com, but not to being a carer. I don't stare at my phone! I love history and hearing the stories people tell. I have extensive experience as a senior companion and carer. I helped my grandmother and mother through significant illnesses, and lived with a senior whose husband passed suddenly for 6 months. I ran a medical practice specializing in geriatric patients and infectious disease. I am reasonably cultured, traveled, and well-read. I enjoy cooking, conversation, exercise. I understand, speak, read several Slavic languages. I currently have openings and looking forward to hearing from you.

Lydia is a natural caretaker, great conversationalist, household problem solver - and an excellent cook! She took wonderful care of my mother who suffered a shoulder injury and needed assistance with everything from basic tasks around the house (cooking, cleaning) to personal care (bathing, getting dressed, etc.), going to doctors appointments, keeping her company and everything in between. Lydia was a huge life saver as I live out of state and couldn’t be there when mum needed me most. Would highly recommend Lydia!!
