About Lydia

Hi! I'm originally from Arizona and moved to Michigan to be closer to family and friends! I worked in early education for 7 years and have nannied for several amazing families over the years, including multiples at a time. I grew up babysitting and then moving on to teaching middle schoolers, but the next big educational step was getting my CDA and teaching preschool and kindergarten for 5 years. Being a natural empath, I feel as though I carry a unique ability to relate to, connect with, and comfort children at a higher level than most can. I love working with kids, taking care of them, and being a primary influence in their early development, I'm looking for more growth and improvement career-wise because I'm taking responsibility for where my life is headed and positioning myself to be the best I can for when my future family needs me.
