About Lydia

Caregiving is more than a job for me; it's a passion rooted in supporting children's emotional, developmental, and creative growth. My 12 years of experience span Montessori, traditional classrooms, and tutoring environments. I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education, Behavioral Health, and Psychology, which allows me to focus on child-led, hands-on learning. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular texts. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I love playing outdoor sports, educational games, and learning outdoors. I have intentionally worked toward 10, 000 hours outside with the children I care for. Our days include nature walks, fort building, gardening, and imaginative play. I am comfortable caring for up to 4 children, ages 0-11, 1-3, 4-5, 6-11, and 12+. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am CPR and First Aid certified.
