About Lydia

I love working with kids because they can always make me smile and laugh! I worked as a preschool gymnastics coach for a year and a half. Every time I was at work, my day was brightened by the jokes and stories of my gymnasts. I loved helping them learn new skills and play games in the gym. As a coach, I ran 30-45 minute classes with groups of 6-8 children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. I also volunteered monthly as an assistant preschool Sunday school teacher at my church for about a year and a half. I got to help children play together, give them snacks, and teach them short lessons. Last summer, I nannied for a local family with three children. We spent the summer playing card games, swimming at the neighborhood pool, and running around the backyard. I helped the children complete math, reading, and writing worksheets provided by their parents to help them prepare for their next year of school. I am excited for another summer of fun with little ones!
